HR ROUND TABLE: People, Technology, and Compensation in Logistics 2026+

Logistics is entering a period where it is no longer enough to address only the question of where to find new employees. Demographic trends are shrinking the available labor pool, while automation and artificial intelligence are transforming the nature of work itself. Companies will need to manage employee loyalty, skills, compensation, and people’s ability to operate in a state of constant change with far greater precision. The HR round table will therefore focus on how logistics and manufacturing companies can build workforce strategies for an era shaped simultaneously by labor shortages, productivity pressures, the rise of AI and robotics, the employment of foreign workers, growing turnover costs, and new demands for pay transparency. The discussion will also address the impact of the European Pay Transparency Directive, which will place greater emphasis on fairness, explainability, and data readiness within compensation systems. The round table will include short presentations introducing key topics for the subsequent discussion: hybrid HR strategies in the era of AI and demographic disruption, building a transformation-oriented culture, and the evolving role of management in a world where change is becoming an everyday reality. The goal is not to find simple answers, but to share practical experience, inspiration, and the questions that will shape companies’ competitiveness in the years ahead.

The roundtable discussion will be moderated by Roman Molek, Managing Partner of Transearch International.
