Industrial brownfields and their use for urban logistics
The case study will focus on the revitalization of an industrial brownfield in the city of Brno and its reuse for industrial construction with a focus on urban logistics and production. It will specifically present the revitalization of the former Zetor premises and show the points of view of the developer and the tenant. Important aspects from the investor’s point of view of the territory will be presented, such as loads and limits of the territory, construction readiness, construction restrictions, property situation, development design, construction according to client requirements, consideration of further development with regard to spatial planning, etc., but also criteria affecting the tenant’s decision such as the suitability of the site, the design of the operation and the layout of the building, including the evaluation of plans and actual operation. The case study will be presented by Pavel Blažek from the developer, CTP, and Aleš Malucha from the tenant, Rohlík.cz.
