When 5G helps with logistics

When 5G helps with logistics

The main challenges in e-commerce warehousing are costs and the lack of human resources. The application of 5G Campus technology in the storage and picking of goods is no longer just a matter of discussion, it has become a reality in the case study of the companies Dextrum and T-Mobile. Real-life examples of 5G Campus solutions can be used to see the fundamental benefits in various phases of warehouse work, whether it is the area of stocking and picking goods using the “G2P” method, controlling a robotic arm from an off-arm server for savings, image recognition and processing, or controlling an autonomous forklift cart. The project not only brought many benefits throughout the entire process, but it is possible to identify a positive impact on end consumers, which was also one of the main criteria for evaluating its success.
