Jan Pavlíček, Antwell

Jan Pavlíček is the founder and CEO of the Antwell Group, which he has been building since 1998, when he started his business in transportation as a sole trader. In 2004, he founded JP Spedition, now Antwell Group, and without external capital, he developed it into one of the most significant players in commercial vehicle leasing in Central Europe. His entrepreneurial journey has been shaped by his ability to turn every market crisis into an opportunity for growth. In 2009, when competitors were going bankrupt, he entered the heavy equipment segment. After the COVID-19 pandemic, he successfully transitioned from pure transportation to leasing, and in 2022, thanks to thoughtful risk management, he mitigated the impacts of the oil crisis. Under his leadership, the group has grown from a single truck to a fleet of more than 650 vehicles and serves premium clients, including global logistics and industrial corporations. Jan Pavlíček is also the founder of Antwell Autocentrum and Antwell Used and an advocate of vertical integration. An in-house service center, tire service, and a sales channel for used equipment form a closed value chain across the entire group.
