Jan Vymazal, Alasans

Jan Vymazal serves as Chief Operating Officer at Alasans, the second-largest online lighting retailer in Europe, headquartered in Blansko. He is responsible for logistics development strategy, manages projects involving the construction and reconstruction of new warehouses, oversees property management, and designs and implements automated solutions in logistics. Alasans processes up to seven thousand orders daily for customers across twenty-six countries. Previously, he managed logistics in an industrial manufacturing company, in retail, and in the 3PL sector at DHL, where he provided services for clients such as Henkel, Estée Lauder, Primark, Eaton, and SKY Deutschland. In recent years, he led a major investment in new warehouse facilities built on a brownfield site in Blansko, resulting in more than a twofold increase in packing productivity. In its further development, under his leadership the company is focusing on the robotization and automation of processes.
