Jiří Petrtýl is the Head of Strategic Projects and Improvement at ZF Passive Safety Czech, which specialises in the production of seat belts for the automotive industry. He has been with ZF Corporation for almost three decades, during which time he has worked successively in positions in production, internal logistics, quality and lean/six sigma. During his career he has implemented various ERP systems such as BPCS, Lossy and SAP. For internal logistics, he implemented vision systems, scanning, AGV systems and JIS delivery. According to him, the future of logistics lies in automated production processes combined with automated logistics and digitalization.
