Martin Baláž, Prologis

Martin Baláž is Senior Vice President and Head of Asset Management for Central Europe at Prologis. He is responsible for the management of the company’s portfolio in the Czech Republic, Slovakia, Hungary and Poland. He manages all activities related to leasing, construction, property management and project management. At the same time, he manages investment projects and oversees the leasing processes of industrial parks. He joined Prologis in 2014 as senior manager for leasing and development for the Czech Republic and Slovakia. Prior to that, he worked at Cushman & Wakefield, where he was an associate partner and headed the industrial and retail space department in Slovakia and the industrial real estate department in the Czech Republic. He holds an MBA in Construction and Real Estate from the College of Estate Management in Reading, UK. He is also a lecturer at the University of Economics in Prague, where he teaches in the specialized MBA Real Estate and Valuation (MBARE) programme.
