Martina Šmídlová, Šmídl Holding

Martina Šmídlová is the Sales Director and co-owner of ŠMÍDL HOLDING, one of the largest Czech transport and logistics companies without foreign capital. The company employs more than 800 people, operates over 500 vehicles, and in 2025 received the Company of the Year of the Pardubice Region award. She originally graduated from a veterinary university and worked in the pharmaceutical industry for nearly ten years before deciding on a major career change. For her leadership approach, she received the EY Entrepreneur of the Year 2023 Pardubice Region title and was included among the most influential women in the Czech Republic by Forbes.
