Michal Jakeš, Mondi Group

Michal Jakeš studied International Business and Logistics at the University of Economics in Prague. After his studies, he joined the energy division of General Electric, where in a newly formed team he was responsible for logistics integration and subsequent procurement of logistics services for GE plants in Europe and overseas. Within General Electric he progressed through team management, project logistics, logistics sourcing to the position of Logistcs operations leader for Europe. Since 2021, he has been working at Mondi Szczecin as External Logistics Manager and together with his team he is responsible for the distribution of paper and pulp to 80 countries worldwide.
