Tomáš Martoch, GS1 Czech Republic

Ing. Tomáš Martoch is a graduate of the University of Transport and Communications in Žilina. Prior to joining GS1 Czech Republic, he worked at Deloitte Central Europe as the director of consulting services since 2001. He joined GS1 Czech Republic in 2008, and since 2011 he has been responsible for the overall coordination and management of all activities of the Czech-Slovak ECR Initiative, which represents the most important suppliers in the fast moving consumer goods, retail chains and service providers sectors. He is an enthusiastic promoter of cooperation between suppliers and traders and sustainability issues, including reducing food waste, packaging waste and reducing CO2. Currently, Tomáš Martoch is also an active member of the European Steering Committee of the Lean & Green Sustainable Logistics Program.
