I visit the EASTLOG Congress organized by ATOZ Group regularly to get the latest information on developments and new trends in the logistics field, to see interesting case studies and to hear opinions on current topics and comparison of experts in panel discussions. This year’s panel discussion on Warehouse Transformations gave me the opportunity to look at the different view of developers on the equipment of warehouses of the same category. There is also an opportunity for professional discussions with industry experts, as well as for informal talks and networking. As a variation of EASTLOG, this year it was also possible to visit the HOPI FISH Hub and get an idea of the processes and technologies without which such a project cannot be realized.
This year, for the first time, I had the opportunity to attend, among others, this logistic event, which fulfilled its purpose for me. Good organization, selection of speakers and current topics, where the discussion was also off-stage and gave me a chance to look beyond my working and professional horizons.
For me, it was the third edition I had the chance to attend. As always it was well organized and in a pleasant environment. At Eastlog I like meeting many friends and colleagues from logistics. This year’s program was very interesting, but I was most interested in the logistics for e-shops section.
Eastlog is the leading logistics event in the Czech Republic. It offers a unique opportunity to meet with experts in the field of logistics. Cushman & Wakefield has been a partner of this congress since 2008. As it is every year, this edition of Eastlog was flawlessly prepared and fulfilled our expectations.
Eastlog has as its motto “an event that isn’t afraid to bite”. I was convinced of this by the hot topics on the agenda, such as the fight against transport fraud. The topic of e-shop logistics was also interesting. As an express carrier, we are close to this topic.
Eastlog was very interesting. As a teacher, I learn mainly from the media about the what is new in the field, and so I sometimes miss things. But teachers should have up-to-date information. At the Business Mixer, you can get acquainted with interesting people in the industry and establish (for us not business) contacts for various excursions, help with teaching, placement of pupils in practice. SEELOG was also very beneficial to me, as I can see the theory we teach in practice. Simply an experience!
This year, we decided to take part in the Eastlog congress and its Logistics Business Mixer, and the expert level of the conference and its social part fully met our expectations. We at P3 build ourselves on long-term good and personal relationships with our customers, and we regularly take part in the research on the satisfaction of industrial park users. That is why we are very pleased that the Tenants’ Prize for the best logistics park was won by our P3 Prague D8 complex this year.
In the past, I regularly attended the Eastlog conferences, as I was always able to gather interesting information from the world of logistics. This year I visited after a two-year break and I found many interesting topics in the program. I was particularly interested in the experience of colleagues dealing with e-shop logistics, because it is and will be the topic to be addressed in the future. I have to admit that I expected to meet my “old acquaintances” at the conference whom I had met in the past, but the opposite was true. Thanks to that, I was able to establish many new contacts, which may be interesting in the future. The informal style of the Logistics Business Mixer also greatly contributed to making new contacts, which, with its unique atmosphere, certainly contributed to relieving stress and relaxing after a busy day in the conference rooms.
