Martin Baláž holds the position of Senior Vice President and Head of Asset Management for Central Europe at Prologis. He is responsible for managing the company’s portfolio in the Czech Republic, Slovakia, Hungary, and Poland. He oversees all activities related to leasing, development, property management, and project management. At the same time, he leads investment projects and supervises the leasing processes of industrial parks. He joined Prologis in 2014 as Senior Manager for Leasing and Development for the Czech Republic and Slovakia. Prior to that, he worked at Cushman & Wakefield, where he held the position of Associate Partner and led the Industrial and Retail Agency team in Slovakia as well as the Industrial Agency team in the Czech Republic. He holds an MBA in Construction and Real Estate from the College of Estate Management in Reading, United Kingdom. He also serves as a lecturer at the Prague University of Economics and Business, where he teaches in the specialized MBA program Real Estate and Valuation (MBARE).
