Miroslav has been with CHEP for almost 12 years. At the beginning of his career, he held the position of Account Manager of CHEP CZ for national and multinational companies. After 5 years, he received a new opportunity within the company for the position of Asset Management – Field Service Executive for the Czech Republic and Slovakia. After 3 years in this position, Miroslav started to build his team, which made him Team Leader Asset Management CZ & SK. His position oversees the improvement of pallet returns from all over the Czech Republic, looking for ways to optimize pallet pick-ups and truck utilization so that the supply chains of clients and chains cooperating with CHEP are as efficient as possible. He is responsible for the audit process of blue CHEP pallets. CHEP’s pallet pooling system is based on a circular economy, the so-called circular economy. The return on pallets is therefore crucial not only in terms of the efficiency of the Supply Chain, but also the sustainability of the entire system. The pallets are then returned to the CHEP service center, repaired if necessary and sent back into circulation instead of ending up in landfills.
