Can we afford to be responsible?

30. 5. 2024
16:30 – 18:00
Conference hall C1

Can we afford to be responsible?

The afternoon block will traditionally be devoted to economic issues. The opening speech will be delivered by the renowned economist Jan Švejnar, who will describe the current situation of the Czech Republic in economic terms, outline the main threats and opportunities and look at the functioning of the local economy in a wider, European or global context. A panel discussion will follow, which will move on the basic axis, which is bounded by two, to a certain extent, opposite points – responsibility and economic reality. The panel discussion, in which economists, logisticians and entrepreneurs will speak, will answer the basic question: Can we afford to be responsible?
